Elsie Fire Benefit Dance
February 19th, 2022
In 2018 EAFD made history and started the Elsie Area Fire Rescue Division. The department operates 2 Medical First Response units, staffs MFRs, EMTs, and Medics. The rescue division responds to over 225 calls per year! We provide the best service for our residents. The rescue operates off the township mileages and does not bill for rescue services. We want to add to our services! funds from this dance will go to the purchase of a LUCAS CPR Machine
What is LUCAS CPR device?
This device is called the LUCAS Device. The LUCAS device is an electric-powered device that automates the chest compression part of CPR. The great benefit of this device is it never tires. Even the most well trained EMT’s can become tired administering CPR and that can, unfortunately, lead to death
It is the mission of the Elsie Area Fire Department to preserve life and property; promote public safety, and foster community support services in a professional manner.
The members of the Elsie Area Fire Department are:
Prepared for Duty
Serving With Integrity
Responding With Compassion
Committed to Professional Excellence
These statements of core values mean the following to the Elsie Area Fire Department:
Prepared for Duty—means that our members will do everything possible to ensure that our organization is at an optimum state of readiness when called upon to respond at a moment’s notice.
